I'm sitting here, eating my favorite ice cream, and smiling because I got accepted to go to Guadalajara, Mexico from May 5 to June 20 for Study Abroad! I'm super excited! Perhaps a little too excited. Hooray!

Little ditty about Jack and Diane...

I've been looking for a "Jack" for some time now. And then I realized: Duh! Jack Handy!!! If he and I were to fall in love, I would never ever ever stop laughing. And then I would live forever, since laughter is the best medicine. I found the secret! Tuck Everlasting ain't got nothin' to say now.

Yes, I know what you're thinking. I've also heard that Jack Handy isn't a real person. But, just as I was in the pit of despair, I read in the source of all truth that he is!! But then I also read that he is turning 60 on Wednesday. Ew. I may be fond of older guys, but... that's just twisted.

So, I'm still in the hunt* for a "Jack" who is hilarious and cute. And I don't know if a "John" is going to cut it. Well, maybe if he goes by "Jack" all the time. Depends on how desperate I feel.

...but probably because this is hilarious: I'm laughing so hard I'm almost crying. Okay, I am crying. My friend Paul just shared this link with me, and all the links I've checked out from the page are really really funny. I haven't seen everything, so be careful (obviously), and use good judgment. I'm such a gringa

So... I'm on a Spanish kick. Last night I dreamt in Spanish again! Woo hoo! I think I'm going to order a CD of Juanes from Amazon or somewhere, mostly because getting a package in the mail is pretty high up there on my top 15 (somehow I forget that I had to pay for it and just pretend it's like my birthday or something... Oh yeah... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY!), and also because I really really like his music. Those of you who are familiar with him: any favorite songs? If I'm going to be more serious than itunes, I don't want to blow it.

PS: I'm seriously considering/applying for the Guadalajara (Mexico) Study Abroad for Spring '09. Have I mentioned that already?
